The "Richard @ 50 Challenge" is into its third week, and has been a huge success so far!
Having suffered a life-changing stroke aged 36, our very own Richard Djan-Krofa is marking his milestone 50th birthday by raising funds for Different Strokes, a charity for whom he is a Trustee.
As part of this, he is walking 10,000 steps every day in July (data right).
In addition, this Saturday, he completed the Go Ape challenge at Battersea Park!
"We had a wonderful and challenging time on Saturday with 18 adults and 8 children, completing the various levels of these testing obstacles where participants were able to conquer their fear! All in aid for a worthy charity Different Strokes, who are helping younger stroke survivors and their families to reclaim lives through active peer support. Please give generously - any amounts are welcome!" - Richard.
We've already raised over £2,000 - thank you so much to everyone who has donated so far, and we still have over half of July left!
Coming soon...more challenges, including an Olympic Park abseil in September!
